I don’t accept insurance directly. This allows our work to stay focused on you, without the added pressure of meeting insurance requirements or limitations.
-
Yes. Depending on your plan, you may have out-of-network benefits that can help reimburse a portion of your session cost.
I partner with Mentaya to make this process easier. They can help you check your benefits, estimate reimbursement, and submit claims on your behalf.

Insurance companies often have specific requirements for care, which can affect how sessions are structured, how long they last, and what gets focused on.
Working outside of insurance allows therapy to be more flexible, more private, and more centered around what you actually need.

When using insurance, a diagnosis is usually required for coverage.
With private pay, we have more flexibility. If a diagnosis is clinically appropriate, we can talk about that together, but the focus stays on your goals and what you want to work on.

That is something only you can decide, but for many people, this is the point where things begin to shift.
If you are used to overthinking, second-guessing yourself, or putting other people’s needs first, choosing to invest in therapy can feel like a big step. It can bring up uncertainty, or even guilt.
But it can also be the beginning of something different.
A chance to start choosing yourself, while still staying connected to the people and relationships that matter to you.
Therapy gives you the space and support to work through what has been keeping you stuck, so you are not just managing things day to day, but actually creating change.
